Catalytic Approaches for the Sustainable Production of High-Value Products
This project focuses on developing innovative catalytic solutions for the sustainable production of high-value products. By optimizing chemical processes, the goal is to enhance efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and facilitate the creation of industrially relevant chemicals. The research will concentrate on designing advanced catalysts using both experimental and computational techniques. Key strategies include the use of earth-abundant metal catalysts and flow chemistry to improve sustainability, cost-efficiency, and recyclability. Computational tools will aid in designing catalysts, predicting reactivity, and advancing the catalyst discovery process. Combining experimental and computational approaches will deepen our understanding of reaction mechanisms and improve catalytic systems for organic synthesis, providing new sustainable methodologies. The ultimate aim is to contribute significantly to sustainable chemistry by developing more efficient and cost-effective catalytic systems.
